Welcome to our Photo Gallery
The following pictures tell the story of the creation of the sculpture "The Resurrection Cross" from start to finish. It begins with the two maquettes showing the original concept, the standing of the 24' tall plywood model on site and ends with the final stainless steel piece at the Official Dedication Ceremony. The "Rejoice in Hope" Celebration held at The Catholic Education Centre on May 4, 2010 was a wonderful event. The Most Reverend Nicola De Angelis the Bishop of Peterborough performed the Mass and Blessed both the 24' tall Cross and the smaller ones that were handed out to all of the different School Boards. The day was a beautiful one that created many warm memories, a special one being when the Bishop also Blessed Don as the creator of the Cross. At the end of the photo gallery are pictures of the special box that housed "The Resurrection Cross" that we sent to the Pope at Christmas time.
